You will absolutely need a doctor's prescription with the mention "at home".

Are KOP 11 treatments reimbursed?

Reimbursements for physiotherapy and osteopathy treatments differ.

Details of reimbursements are available in the "Services" tab.

Do I need to consult a doctor first before a KOP11 session?

A medical prescription is mandatory for a physiotherapy session.
For an osteopathic session, it is best to consult a doctor before making an appointment. Only doctors are authorized to make a medical diagnosis. The doctor's role is to ensure that there is no serious underlying condition causing your symptoms. They are the primary healthcare provider by far.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a paramedical specialty that allows a qualified professional to work on various forms of rehabilitation, muscle strengthening, mobility, and endurance for a patient. Physiotherapy is frequently used following an injury, surgery, or any traumatic event affecting the body. It addresses both the skeletal system and the body's functions, improving the patient's quality of life. In France, the title of physiotherapist is reserved exclusively for individuals who have obtained a state diploma validated by the National Council of the Order of Physiotherapists and are registered with the National Council.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a method of care that seeks to identify and treat restrictions in mobility that can affect all the structures that make up the human body.

Any loss of mobility in the joints, muscles, ligaments, or internal organs can lead to an imbalance in health. Osteopathy is based on the body's ability to self-regulate and on a thorough understanding of anatomy.

Osteopathy is based on three original concepts:

  • the hand, a tool for analysis and care;

  • taking into account the whole person;

  • the principle of tissue equilibrium.

It requires specific skills, in-depth knowledge of how the human body works and the interactions between each of its systems.

It prevents and treats numerous physical ailments and also has an effect on the nervous, functional, and psychological levels. It helps everyone manage their "life capital" responsibly and independently for improved daily well-being.
